Construction and Design
As I have mentioned in the introduction, Canon Pixma MG5220 Wireless Photo All-in-One-is the newest series Pixma series Canon, a series of MG. The MG series consists of only two blocks, but you can see the differences between previous generations Pixma MP and this new series almost immediately .
The most noticeable is the change in design. The appearance of MG5220s is made in glossy black with a thin silver bar, where the scanner raises and two small logos: the Canon logo on the front panel and logo Pixma on top of the scanner lid. The form also differs, although the overall dimensions of MG5220 are roughly the same as in Pixma MP560; 15 x 18 x 6 inches and 18 x 15 x 6 inches respectively.
Working on top of the down, the 48-bit tablet scanner offers a maximum scan size of 8.5 x 11.7 inches and a maximum resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi. Canon Company offers several scanner functions on MG5220, including: Auto Document Fix, automatic scanning mode (feels several objects on the tablet), correction of shadows and scans in memory (memory card or flash memory).
The control Panel is also located on the top of the MG5220, working on the length of the right side. The 2.4-inch adjustable LCD display followed by 10 quick keys and the wheel is Easy Scroll Wheel for easy navigation. The power button is located under the LED Wi-Fi.
Directly below the power button users will find a built-in card reader and front USB/PictBridge slot. Pixma MG5220 compatible with the following carriers: SD, SDHC, MultiMediaCard (v 4.1), MultiMediaCard Plus (v 4.1), CompactFlash, Microdrive, Memory stick, Memory stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick Pro Duo.
To the left of the card reader there is an output tray that opens itself. This tray should also be open when users want to access the inside of the printer to install five separate cartridges. Canon Company provides four inks based on the dye, CLI-226 CMYK, as well as a black ink tank based on the pigment PGI-225 in the original packaging.
