Canon PIXMA mini320 Review– The Canon PIXMA mini320 prints high-quality photos from a variety of paper sizes from 5 to 7 to 4, but the photos are slightly scratch-free. The installation is quick and easy. Open the inner lid after opening the top and front caps only to open in and out trays, grab the printhead and four color cartridges and turn on the printer.
Load paper and you can print from memory cards and PictBridge cameras. (Unfortunately, the USB keys cannot be printed.) To print from a computer, simply run the automatic Setup program on the provided disk and connect it to the USB cable. You can also add an optional Bluetooth adapter ($49.99 direct) or connect through a built-in infrared port.
The front panel is similar to most up-to-date canon models, each with a tilt, 2.5-inch color LCD that can rotate the motion along with the menu settings along with the buttons and a wheel provides preview photos of a memory card. I ran a few small problems with menus and control Panel. Every time I select a photo to print, I need to have the number of copies of a forgotten step, so if I have to save “to set a number.” If there is another problem, the Edit menu is only for cropping the actual editing function. Other options, including brightness, contrast and red-eye reduction can be an advanced menu where you can’t think of them looking.
I was also surprised to find that Canon now offers a feature that allows you to print a page of nine thumbnail size samples with different settings selected by mini260 which is the printer, and then take the full scale to Sample to print. For most photos, it was a much easier way to improve the quality of your photos than to try to change those personal settings yourself.
Canon offers a variety of paper types for mini320 and various paper sizes, including between 4 and 6, 5 and 7 and 4 to 8 inches. For this review, Canon Photo paper Plus is used in bright, Canon’s best choice is the best compromise between the general recommended, speed, quality, durability and cost per print.
