Canon PIXMA MX850 Review– The Photos MX850 ‘s one of the strongest spots. All test photos are qualified as real photo quality, a match for what you can easily expect from a local pharmacy. They’re also extremely water resistant, despite the terrible scratch resistant. If you turn out to look at people, you might want to share a photo at a time, rather than shuffle through the photo pile.
Fortunately, relatively weak scratch resistance but a small deficiency. MX850 features offer an impressive balance of speed, output quality and price. It is easy to recommend for home, office or both and is an easy choice for editors to choose from. Printed output comes crisp and clean with good quality, black text. At the very least, it does for one-sided documents, but the duplex ones, black ink is much less dense, a darker gray, and the edges of the text are more jagged. This is because we suspect that one-sided documents use the printer’s pigmented black ink, while the two-sided ones are using paint-based black.
Photo prints are well differentiated colors, low light and smooth, gradadted colors and good details in the areas of the sea and Sky are up to the normal standards of Canon ‘ UN. Although Hue can produce six-color Pixma MPs, photo quality is still sufficient. We always hunt for original cartridges while assessing print costs at low prices, but I was surprised at the point of marginal disbelief £3.15 p we found color cartridges for Amazon. Check them out, they are not reproduced or third party, so you can only quote low cost especially per page of only a quarter p color. This is a very good figure, compared to the competition, which is close to the average 5p.
Pigmented black ink, from the same source, costs £4.85 p, giving a cost per page of 1.78 p. This is also a good figure, but more in line with the competitors of the printer. Print heads should drive the printer’s life, so the ink cartridges are one consumable. This is a Soho multifunction printer that can be serviced with a list of good features for the most use. Unfortunately, the key features of the two machines, duplex printing and copying, are flawed. Not only the black print in double-sided documents does the same intensity and blackness, but the duplex print speed will not opt for most people to save resources and would prefer to have one-sided printing, instead.
