IJ Start Canon Pixma GM4050 Configuration– Canon has expanded its existing MegaTank range with two new models and will carry two multifunctional devices at the end of November 2019 which combines printing, scanning, and copying functions in one device. The new Pixma G7050 is based on the G6050 model and also features a pile feeder/ADF for 35 sheets and a fax function. The new Pixma GM4050 is a monochrome version without fax. Both models offer the affordable MegaTank refills system and are equipped with three bottles of black ink. The new machines offer high productivity at low cost for printing/copying.

Pixma G7050 and GM4050 are equipped with a document feeder or automatic batch (English automatic document feeder, ADF), which is developed from scratch and accommodates up to 35 sheets. This leads to faster scanning and copying of multi-page documents.

Two strong paper feeders, one in the back and a paper cassette at the bottom, together offer a capacity of up to 350 sheets of plain paper. This makes the new MegaTanks about 3.5 times more productive than many other models on the market which only comes with one paper feeder on the back. That’s why new models print long runs faster and are also economical and environmentally friendly with duplex printing. All formats from 55 x 89 mm to 215.9 x 676 mm can be printed in the back paper feed.

Both printers have a rechargeable black ink tank for pigmented inks, which can be used to print 6,000 ISO pages. In economic mode, there are even up to 8,300 pages. Three bottles of ink with 170 ml each for black are included with both models. The G7050 color Printer also prints up to 7,700 pages with a set of color inks. This not only reduces print costs per page-but also saves the constant purchase and replacement of ink cartridges and reduces downtime at the workplace to a minimum.

GM4050 was originally a pure monochrome printer but also offered the option to use a combination color cartridge (CLI-541) for occasional color printing. All you have to do is replace the dummy cartridge on the device with color cartridges.

Both models allow printing via WLAN and LAN. Pixma GM4050 is compatible with Windows and Pixma G7050 is also compatible with macOS. The “Canon Print ” app (iOS and Android) is available for extensive wireless control.
